Business IoT was founded through the collaboration of Frank van Bemmel and Sedat Kusgul.
Two entrepreneurs with more than 25 years of experience in telecom, technology and customer-focused services.
Their paths first crossed many years ago in the telecom industry, long before they became independent entrepreneurs. In various roles, they saw first-hand how important reliable communication, availability and personal service are for organisations to grow.
Later, they each built their own telecom company.
That experience taught them what customers truly need: not a standard story, but solutions that fit real-life operations.
Not short-term sales, but long-term relationships. Not unnecessary complexity, but clarity, involvement and responsibility.
That way of working is now the foundation of Business IoT.
Why we started Business IoT
IoT is often explained from a technical perspective. SIM cards, networks, portals, devices, security. All of these are important, but for us, it starts somewhere else.
It starts with the question: What does your connected product need to deliver in the real world?
- Does it need to stay connected at all times?
- Does it need to scale securely?
- Does it need to work internationally without cost surprises?
- Do you need to keep control over thousands of devices in the field?
We saw that many organisations were able to start an IoT solution, but struggled to make that solution reliable, secure and scalable. Especially when a pilot becomes production, or when a product is rolled out internationally.
That is why Business IoT was created: to help organisations build a foundation that truly works. Technically and operationally.
Our background
Frank and Sedat both come from the telecom industry. They understand the dynamics of operators, suppliers, networks, business customers and service organisations.
They know how important it is that technology does not only work on paper, but continues to perform when it is under pressure.
They bring that experience into everything Business IoT does.
- Frank is known for his direct, commercial and customer-focused approach. He quickly understands what an organisation needs and translates that into practical solutions that create real value.
- Sedat brings the same entrepreneurial mindset and telecom experience: pragmatic, solution-oriented and focused on the long term.
Together, they share one belief: real value is created when knowledge, trust and collaboration come together.
